About the Job
Position Overview:
We are seeking a licensed Master Electrician to support our HVAC installation team and help expand our residential electrical services. Current work primarily includes running high-voltage electrical lines and completing electrical connections for new HVAC and mini split installations.
As the role grows, future responsibilities will include:
- Electrical panel upgrades.
- EV charger installations.
- Residential service work.
- Home electrical improvements and troubleshooting.
- Supporting the development of Elmar’s electrical division
This position is ideal for someone entrepreneurial-minded who enjoys taking ownership, working independently, and helping build systems and processes.
Responsibilities:
- Run high-voltage electrical lines for HVAC and mini split installations.
- Install disconnects, breakers, circuits, and related electrical components.
- Ensure all work complies with local and national electrical codes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues efficiently.
- Communicate professionally with homeowners and team members.
- Perform panel upgrades and electrical service improvements.
- Install residential EV charging systems.
- Maintain organized documentation and job records.
- Help develop and improve the company’s electrical operations.
Qualifications:
- Current Master Electrician license.
- Strong residential electrical experience.
- Experience with HVAC electrical systems preferred.
- Knowledge of NEC and local electrical codes.
- Ability to work independently and manage projects.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Professional attitude and customer-focused mindset.
